Here’s my wishlist for the leader of the SBA…
Okay, so we don’t know who the new SBA Administrator will
be yet — it’s only been five months since
Karen Mills announced that she’ll be stepping down at the end of this month (we
should cut the White House some slack, right?) — but I believe there are a few qualities and
characteristics the new head of the SBA ought to possess. There are also a
couple things he or she should do to help America’s small businesses (and our
economy at-large) grow and thrive.
I’ve published my SBA Administrator wishlist in my latest Huffington Post column,
which you can read here.
I’d really like to hear what you think — whether you agree or disagree with me
— so leave a comment at The
Huffington Post.
Thanks in advance for reading, commenting, and sharing this
with others. Hopefully we can spark some conversation about the yet-to-be-named
SBA Administrator and even impact some of the decisions that come from the Agency
in the near future.
Dedicated to Your Continued Success,
Chris
P.S. While we
eagerly await an announcement from the White House about who the new SBA
Administrator will be, we’re still closing loans for small business owners
nationwide. If you have questions about how we can help you or your small
business customers, call me at 1-866-622-4504 or email me at ChrisHurn@MercantileCC.com.
P.P.S. If you
think I’ve done a good job of influencing and advocating for small businesses,
I’d appreciate your vote in the 2013
Small Business Influencer Awards. This is secondary compared to the issue
of the new SBA Administrator, but you can vote here
if you’re so inclined. Thanks!
